Tempting Scout, a daughter of champion Tempting Dash racing for Valeriano Racing Stables, is the fastest qualifier to the September 1, $626,135 All American Oaks (G1) for 3-year-old fillies.

Racing in the last of four trials at Albuquerque Downs on Sunday, Tempting Scout defeated second-fastest qualifier Bigtime B by 1 1/4 lengths while covering 440 yards in :21.046. Francisco Calderon rode the sorrel filly for trainer Heath Taylor.

Tempting Scout was bred in Texas by Paragon Farms, and she was coming off of a second-place finish in a 440-yard Rainbow Oaks (G1) trial at Ruidoso Downs on July 7. A $62,000 purchase by Tom Maher at the 2022 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, the filly is out of Apollitical Scout, a multiple graded stakes winning daughter of world champion Apollitical Dash.

Tempting Scout has won four of eight races and has earned $132,367. Her stakes resume includes a victory in last year's Prairie Meadows Gold Futurity and a third-place finish in the June 1, 400-yard Heritage Place Oaks (G2) at Remington Park.

Bigtime B was clocked in :21.246. Clint Crawford trained and Juan Pulido rode the Valiant Hero filly for owners Tyler Graham, Conda Maze, Ron Lueck, Michael Stewart, and Byron Boyd.

Bigtime B was bred in Oklahoma by the Homer A. Hill Estate. A $150,000 buy at the '22 Heritage Place Yearling Sale, the filly has won two of eight races and has banked $17,093.
