AQHA Cumulative Breeder: Basiel Bennett

Each year, the American Quarter Horse Association honors breeders who have dedicated their livelihoods to maintaining the integrity of the American Quarter Horse breed. These horsemen, horsewomen and their families see their biggest accomplishments and proudest moments in the horses they breed.

AQHA is honored to recognize 2022 AQHA Cumulative Breeder Basiel Bennett of Ben Wheeler, Texas.

Bennett's horses have qualified for the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World show multiple times and he has countless quality horses to help his breeding program prosper. He has produced horses that have been point earners in open and amateur performance classes. His involvement in AQHA has allowed him to showcase his horses on a worldwide stage to show their versatility and ability to handle the toughest competition.

AQHA is proud to recognize the 2022 50-year Cumulative and Legacy Breeders at the AQHA Breeder Banquet, presented by Teton Ridge, during the 2023 AQHA Convention. The banquet is slated for 6 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. AQHA will also recognize the 2022 100-Year Breeders; 75-Year Breeders; AQHA Best Remuda and International Best Remuda; the 2021 AQHA Ranching Heritage Breeder of the Year; Top Ranching Heritage-Bred Sale of the Year; and 2022 Top Money-Earning Ranching Heritage Breeder of the Year.
