Ten 2-year-olds, led by fastest qualifier Relentless Rocket, are entered back in Thursday's 350-yard, $80,400 Northlands Futurity at Canterbury Park.

A homebred son of champion Hes Relentless trained by Jason Olmstead for owner Tom Maher of Pierre, South Dakota, Relentless Rocket is coming off of a two-length victory in the first of three Northlands Futurity trials on July 24. The bay gelding has won two of his four outs and has earned $15,860.

Relentless Rocket drew post 9 and will be ridden by Ramiro Garcia.

Also on Thursday, fastest qualifier Shes Sumoke Stacked brings a two-race win streak into the 400-yard, $50,075 Canterbury Park Derby for 3-year-olds.

Trained by Jason Olmstead for owner Tom Maher, Shes Sumoke Stacked is coming off of a half-length win in the first of two trials on July 24. The daughter of champion Hes Relentless has won both of her outs at Canterbury Park, including a 300-yard, $15,500 non-winners-of-two allowance dash on July 3.

Shes Sumoke Stacked was a $40,000 purchase at the 2022 Heritage Place Yearling Sale. The filly drew the rail post and will be ridden by Eugenio Navarrete Jr.

Thursday's 350-yard, $15,000 Northlands Juvenile Stakes has drawn a field of 10 2-year-olds, led by morning-line favorite Shes Hell Bent.

Trained by Jason Olmstead for owners Tom Maher and Paul Luedemann, Shes Hell Bent began her career with a clear 1 1/4-length victory in a 300-yard, $15,000 maiden-special-weight race for Minnesota-breds on June 13. The filly drew post 5 and will be ridden by Ramiro Garcia.
