One Sweet Duck, a homebred daughter of One Sweet Jess racing for Lex A. Fabrizio, is the fastest qualifier to the October 23, $96,900 Wild West Futurity (RG3).

Racing in the last of three trials at Los Alamitos on Sunday, One Sweet Duck covered 350 yards in :17.863 while defeating third-fastest qualifier Jess Yaya by two lengths. Armando Cervantes rode the homebred filly for trainer Monty Arrossa.

One Sweet Duck was bred in Utah and is out of Duck Dash N Go, an 8-year-old Coronas Fast Dash mare who won the 2018 Independence Day Handicap (G3) at Los Alamitos. The filly has won four of seven races and has earned $43,820.
