About the Foundation

The American Quarter Horse Foundation is the charitable partner of the American Quarter Horse Association. The Foundation is categorized by the IRS as a Type 1 supporting organization under section 509(a)(3), a subsection of IRS Code 501(c)(3). A Type 1 supporting organization is operated, supervised, or controlled by a publicly supported organization, (AQHA).
