America's Horse in Art Show & Sale

The 14th annual America's Horse in Art Show is August 20 through October 22, 2022.

America’s Horse in Art is the signature art exhibition of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum. This show and sale serve as the museum’s primary fundraiser and is administered by the American Quarter Horse Foundation.

This exhibition is an invitation only art show focusing on traditional western art and sculpture showcasing the American Quarter Horse. Artwork is juried by an acceptance committee and includes various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, bronze, etc. A signature artist is selected each year to represent the annual show, illustrating the quality and splendor of artwork on display.

Each year the exhibition kicks off with an opening reception, which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, August 20, 2022. Attendees enjoy hors d’oeuvres and camaraderie while experiencing the one-of-a-kind artwork on display. If you are unable to attend the annual event, proxy bidding options are available by contacting our staff artshow@aqha.org.

Due to the increasing number of artists seeking to participate in our annual show, we are exploring multiple options that will allow for additional exhibitions that we hope will benefit both established and up and coming artists. As we develop new opportunities for artistic style, interpretation, and expression, we will provide additional information on how interested artists may participate in these upcoming shows.
