Why Aren't They in the Hall of Fame?
When Madison Hunt married into the Merritt family in 2021, she was not a horse person, but she made every effort to get up to speed quickly on the family’s ranching and horse operation. One thing she noticed pretty quickly was the repeated mention of a stallion that the family had owned in the 1960s. His name was Blue Valentine.
She had heard so many good things about the stallion, that it made her wonder, “Why isn’t he in the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame?”
