AQHA 75-Year Breeder: Walter and Jocelyn Greeman

Each year, the American Quarter Horse Association honors breeders who have dedicated their livelihoods to maintaining the integrity of the American Quarter Horse breed. These horsemen, horsewomen and their families see their biggest accomplishments and proudest moments in the horses they breed.

AQHA is honored to recognize 2022 AQHA 75-Year Breeder Walter and Jocelyn Greeman of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

The Greemans enjoy raising American Quarter Horses on the ranch. Raising horses has helped them produce their product – beef. They use their horses on the ranch as well as in the show pen. In order to work cattle and have a successful career they must have animals they can use and trust to complete their work, and they put their trust in American Quarter Horses. They have passed their passions down to their children who continue to use and breed horses from the foundation their parents created.

AQHA is proud to recognize the 2022 50-year Cumulative and Legacy Breeders at the AQHA Breeder Recognition Banquet, presented by Teton Ridge, during the 2023 AQHA Convention. The banquet is slated for 6 p.m. Sunday, February 26, at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. AQHA will also recognize the 2022 100-Year Breeders; 75-Year Breeders; AQHA Best Remuda and International Best Remuda; the 2021 AQHA Ranching Heritage Breeder of the Year; Top Ranching Heritage-Bred Sale of the Year; and 2022 Top Money-Earning Ranching Heritage Breeder of the Year.
