Dr Tool, a bay son of Kiss My Hocks owned and trained by Luis H. Gonzalez, extended his win streak to three with a three-quarter length victory in Wednesday's $39,740 Adequan Pocatello Downs Derby Challenge.

Dr Tool covered 400 yards in :19.828 while earning a 102 speed index and a berth in the October 24 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs. Jesus Valenzuela rode the gelding.

Raced in three states, including New Mexico, the gelding has won three of 10 outs and has banked $78,230, and his record includes a third-place finish in last year's 400-yard La Fiesta Futurity at Albuquerque Downs.

Of Dr Tool's career bankroll, $45,076 has been pocketed this season.

Calida finished second and was followed by Brilliant Cut Cartel, Shidacious, Thrill Of The Cartel, Sables Dashin, Meghans Feature Sign, El Rayo Amarillo, DF Mr Corona, and Hez Our Joy.
