Each year, the American Quarter Horse Association honors breeders who have dedicated their livelihoods to maintaining the integrity of the American Quarter Horse breed. These horsemen, horsewomen and their families see their biggest accomplishments and proudest moments in the horses they breed.

AQHA is honored to recognize 2022 AQHA Cumulative Breeder W. E. Harris of Benton, Mississippi.

BH Tanquery Chick and a number of other broodmares have been the most prominent in his program. They have produced versatile offspring that can be used in the show pen, rodeo arena and on the ranch, and have earned a long list of achievements while competing.  W. E. Harris is consciously trying to improve his program by finding different stallions to produce the best offspring. His horses have given him the opportunity to travel across the United States to watch his horses compete and to find the most elite horses to breed.

AQHA is proud to recognize the 2022 50-year Cumulative and Legacy Breeders at the AQHA Breeder Banquet, presented by Teton Ridge, during the 2023 AQHA Convention.
