AQHA Region 6 Championships Set for July 19-21

The second of four 2019 AQHA Regional Championships kicks off July 19 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

AQHA Region 6 exhibitors are preparing for the 2019 AQHA Region 6 Championships, which begins July 19 at the Eastern States Exposition Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. The AQHA Regional Championships provides American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills. The entry deadline for the AQHA Region 6 Championships is July 1. Late entries will be accepted at the show.

This regional championships is featured as part of the six-day Region 6 Super 6 Series packed with a variety of classes starting at 7 a.m. on July 16 at the Eastern States Exposition Center. New this year, the Region 6 Championships will also be offering a variety of AQHA Level 2 classes.  AQHA Region 6 classes kick off on Friday, July 19. AQHA judges Murray Griggs, Jill Newcomb, Kelly McDowall, Scott Neuman, Nancy Alto-Renfro and Leonard Berryhill will judge the Region 6 Super 6 Series. View the full show itinerary.

“These shows are the best way for exhibitors to get their feet wet in AQHA championship events,” said Pete Kyle, AQHA chief show officer. “Thanks to the help of WFYoung and Schneider’s, competitors will be vying for some great prizes at each of the regional championships.”

Regions 1 and 2 will also hold Regional Championships this year. Exhibitors from every region are invited to attend a regional championships, but an exhibitor may only compete at one regional championships per year.
