The five-time racing champion Catchmeinyourdreams was laid to rest on August 4, 2021, at the age of 22, according to owner Kirk Goodfellow. The gelding was buried alongside their American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame mare Dashing Phoebe on their Dreams Come True ranch at Nacogdoches, Texas.

Catchmeinyourdreams was foaled in 1999, a gray son of Pritzi Dash out of the White Tie mare Lizas Mystique bred by all-time leading breeder Dr. Ed Allred. Goodfellow acquired the horse in-utero when he bought the mare.

“Catchme” made his first official appearance at Laurel Brown; after a runner-up finish in the Blane Schvaneveldt Futurity at Wyoming Downs in his fifth career start, he moved to Los Alamitos where he would make the vast majority of his 51 career starts.

In his seven-year career, he would win 14 races, place second 13 times and third six times, earning $1,040,929.

He won the Grade 1 2005 Bank of America Challenge Championship; 2003, 2004 and 2005 Los Alamitos Championship; 2004 Go Man Go Handicap. He also won the Bank of America California Challenge (G2) in 2003 and 2005; and the Silver Strand Handicap.

He was named the sport's champion aged gelding and champion aged horse in 2003; the champion aged gelding in 2004; and the champion aged gelding and champion aged horse in 2005.

Catchme retired from racing in 2007, and enjoyed his long retirement at the Goodfellows’ ranch.
