Jody Garcia's Onemoreandiamgone V sprinted to a half-length win in Sunday's $364,094 Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) at Lone Star Park.

Ridden by Luis Vivanco for trainer Angel Sanchez, Onemoreandiamgone V went 400 yards in :19.493 and recorded a 102 speed index while racing against a reported 10-mph head wind. The bay son of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Jess Lips banked $145,638 from his fourth win in six races and first stakes score.

Onemoreandiamgone V posted the third-fastest qualifying time with his neck victory in the ninth of 11 Dash For Cash Futurity trials on September 13. The gelding was bred in Oklahoma by Valeriano Racing Stables, and he was purchased by Garcia for $17,000 at last year's Heritage Place Yearling Sale in Oklahoma City.

Onemoreandiamgone V is out of Velvette, a winning 10-year-old daughter of First Down Dash. The gelding has earned $170,788 while racing in Texas and Louisiana.

"He had a few problems in his first few starts, but we always knew we had a good horse," said Sanchez. "We had faith in him, and we knew he had a good chance in the final."

Pyc Painted Streaker finished second and was followed by Tee Britt, Fear The Dragon, 7-2 favorite Pops First Lady, Rare High Dynasty, Gym N Jam, and fastest qualifier Bad Monkey.
