New Mexico Classics Futurity Qualifiers

Eye Im Flashin tops the qualifiers to the November 24 final at Zia Park.

Eye Im Flashin, a gelded son of Eye Am King owned by the Tungsten Racing Partnership, is the fastest qualifier to the November 24, $350,000-est. New Mexico Classics Futurity (RG2) for state-bred 2-year-olds.

At Zia Park on Saturday, Eye Im Flashin won the fifth of 12 350-yard trials by 1 1/4 lengths in :17.096. Luis Flores-Garcia rode the sorrel gelding for trainer Tony Sedillo.

Eye Im Flashin was bred in New Mexico by Paul P. Cervantes. The gelding was winning for the third time in eight races and increasing his earnings to $100,724.

Eye Im Flashin's early season record includes a second-place finish in the June 16, 350-yard Mountain Top Futurity (RG2) at Ruidoso Downs.

Other noteworthy qualifiers include graded stakes winner Woody Rocks and stakes winner Two Macho For You.
