High Value Of Return, a son of the Mr Jess Perry stallion High Rate Of Return and the fastest qualifier, broke sharply from post 8 and sprinted to a convincing 1 3/4-length win in Saturday's $137,000 Speedhorse Futurity (G3) at Fair Meadows at Tulsa.

Trained by Fidencio Jimenez for owner Mark McPhail, High Value Of Return covered 350 yards in :17.660 while racing against a reported 8-mph head wind. Kevin Camacho rode the homebred sorrel colt.

High Value Of Return made his Fair Meadows debut with a neck victory in the eighth of nine Speedhorse Futurity trials on July 10. The colt is out of Kips Little Clique, a winning daughter of the Kipper Kelly (TB) stallion Kelly Kip (TB). His second dam, the winning Corona Cartel mare Corona Clique, was a finalist in the 2003 Kindergarten Futurity (G1) at Los Alamitos.

High Value Of Return has won four of six starts, and the $52,060 winner's share of the purse from his first stakes score increased his bankroll to $80,050.

Fear The Dragon finished second and was followed by Mh Apollitical Spy, Cindydoesitagain, Spotty Politics, Kissmet, Ferarri B, Candy Rush, and Reigning Kisses. Fourth-fastest qualifier Relentlessly was listed by the Equibase chart as a veterinarian scratch.
