American Quarter Horse Association affiliates produced four championship events in 2022 and wrapped up the final installment of the 2022 AQHA Regional Championships series on September 18. Regions 1, 2, 5 and 6 all hosted AQHA Regional Championships this year.

Region 5 kicked off the first of the regional championship shows on June 22 at Gloucester County Dream Park in Logan Township, New Jersey. Region 6 was held July 19 - 24 at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts, followed by Region 1 on August 13 and 14 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. Region 2 rounded out the 2022 regional championship series September 14 - 18 at the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The AQHA Regional Championships would not be possible without the help of AQHA’s corporate partners. AQHA sponsors a full array of champion buckles for Regional Championship class winners in Level 1 competition. Adequan®, the official joint therapy of AQHA, also generously provides buckles for regional Level 2 champions.
