Professional Horsemen's Crisis Assistance Application
AQHA Professional Horsemen's Endowment Fund
How it Works
Crisis assistance awarded from endowment funding will be based on proven financial need arising from sudden and demonstrable hardship or disaster of a severe and unexpected nature or from serious physical illness.
To be eligible for endowment fund assistance, applicants must be a current member in good standing of the AQHA Professional Horsemen’s Association for at least six months preceding the application and must also be a current AQHA member in good standing. In evaluating evidence of financial need, the following criteria shall be considered:
- Severity of the disaster, hardship or illness
- Recipient’s annual gross family income
- Recipient’s annual net family income
- Number of children or other dependents comprising the family of the recipient
- Availability of insurance
- Alternate sources of income or support available to the recipient
The AQHA Professional Horsemen's Endowment supports AQHA professionals in crisis and seeks to ensure the longevity of the personal and professional wellbeing of the AQHA Professional Horsemen. The Professional Horsemen’s Endowment Fund Program will be administered through the Professional Horsemen’s Association. Recipients will be selected by the Professional Horsemen’s Council.
