Docent Program
Learn how you can become a Docent at the Hall of Fame & Museum.
Love horses, proud of our history and want to make a difference? Volunteer as a Museum Docent*!
Docents participate in various activities and events of the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum including:
- Volunteer to help out at an annual event, such as National Day of the Cowboy, America’s Horse in Art Show & Sale opening reception and the Youth Art Show opening reception.
- Guide school trips through fun, learning activities about westward expansion or help the younger kids saddle up for a mop pony tour during a field trip.
- Welcome tour groups with true Texas hospitality and share the history of the American Quarter Horse and his role in U.S. history.
- Much more!
